PhotoStory Book Trailer Project

Project Outline

1. Students choose a book to read
2. Read the book
3. Use the storyboard template to create a trailer that captures the tone and mood of the book.
4. Gather pictures or create text pictures using .PPT & place all pictures in one folder.
5. Create Photostory using MS Photostory3.
6. Upload all photostory videos to one location (optional)
1. Network folder
2. Video hosting site. (Schooltube/Teachertube)

This student did such a fantastic job  on this project that we sent it to the author, Jay Asher.  He responded in under two hours:

"Thank you so much for sharing that trailer with me.  Erica took some AMAZING photos for it.  In fact, it wasn't until the credits that I realized they weren't just stock photos.  They were REALLY good and created great atmosphere.  So please tell her that I am extremely honored by the time she took to develop that trailer."
